Nothing for ages, then two come along at once…

Saturday 29 August 12-6pm, g39, Cardiff

The in-conversation series #1
An experimental look at that most important, though regularly undervalued, vehicle for the critique, development, and dissemination of art practice – informal conversation.
Including an in-conversation between Tertulia co-founder Phil Owen, and conceptual composer Luke Nickel.

B is g39’s first artist book fair. “We are looking to connect DIY self publishing, small artist book publishers, and innovators in the book form. Through exhibition, sales, performance, and discussion, we will explore the form of artists’ books today”.

Sunday 13 September 2015, 14:00, Arnolfini

Elisabeth Bletsoe, Beth Collar, Eddie Procter

New work using voice and language in response to the landscape…

Since the origins of the modernist movement, there has been some emphasis on the urban environment as the primary site of artistic innovation and critical development. Nevertheless, the natural world retains its potential to provide inspiration, material and method for artists and writers working at an experimental edge.

This session will platform bring together writers and artists presenting work which might be described as exemplifying different aspects of a radical pastoral.

Hope to see you there.
