Spacex

We were invited to lead a session at Spacex, Exeter on Tuesday 20th November, 2012 from 7-9pm. Textual and visual shenanigans in response to the current exhibition by artist, John Court.

We looked at text as material and dynamic form in relation to John Court’s work, dyslexia and the work of a selection of contemporary artists, making pieces that dramatised an encounter with the word. We then explored scriptio continua and spent a happy hour defacing press releases. Here’s some references from the session:
